How do you know you got redeemed?
You may think and confess that you are redeemed, great!
How do you know whether you are redeemed?
How do you know whether your spirit is activated and your soul is alive?
How do you know whether you are in the spirit?
Easy if you are looking for the right signs.
In this short blog, my job is for you to quickly run some tests and see if you are truly redeemed. Double-check whether you are enjoying the results of your redemption.
The right place to start whether you are redeemed is your body. Once you gain redemption, your soul is fully alive and you are in the spirit. On the other hand, you are dead bodily. You don’t identify with your body and its history, deeds, ambitions, and priorities so seriously. That doesn’t mean you fail to recognize who you are and from where you came from physically but these won’t be your primary identities.
This seems easy but it is not.
Millions of people confess verbally that they identify with the Lord but live their lives fully attached to the flesh and its dominance. If the true self within is ‘dead’, however, it is impossible to disassociate with the identity of the body. That means one hasn’t gained redemption yet.
Another indicator to know whether you are redeemed and in the spirit is that you don’t over-depend on your bare eyes. You see with your eyes to guide your physical body in this universe but you trust your inner and spiritual eye. The latter can see well beyond what can be seen with our bare eyes. However, if your spirit is deactivated and if you are not up inside of you, your inner eye is shut!
You being redeemed, however, doesn’t mean you don’t find yourself here and there identify with your body. But, once you gained true redemption, even if you may be dragged down to the flesh’s level, your soul will find a way to get your attention and lift you up to your true state.
Just set time aside once in a while to make sure you listen to your soul.
Seek resurrection in the now
Most people wait for the ultimate resurrection missing so many golden opportuntities to experience an equal proportion ressurection within and now.
We shouldn’t expect a dramatic resurrection after we die differently than the one we have had so far. Once we exit this universe, we missed all the God-given opportunities to resurrect our true self now while it matters the most.
Your true self must be resurrected within you while alive. When It does, you know it.
When you experience resurrection now, you look back with regret the years your ego in your head was alive while your true self in your spirit was dead.
If your true self is unable to gain resurrection within you while alive, you are going to the next phase with a dead persona, which cannot resurrect.
What you perceive and experience in the spirit while here on this side of the fence will be your reality when you emerge from this physical universe and mental world to the glorious spiritual universe.
Make sure your eternal self is up and running while you’re alive, not the ego.
Don’t be deceived as if you are alive because the noisy and temporal ego, which cannot emerge to the eternal spiritual universe when the body dies, is well and alive in this temporal and physical universe strapped with time and space.
Know who you TRULY are
Someone on Facebook asked me casually “Who truly are we?” while discussing a topic with nothing to do with spirituality. Below was my long response and thought sharing with you here.
We aren’t just flesh, blood, and bones. We aren’t just our bodies. Though we share so many things with other creations since we live in the same physical space governed by some inflexible universal laws, we have unique attributes that combine humanness and divinity in one!
Our existence didn’t start with the physical universe when each one of us got a DNA seed from our parents to join this universe with a biological body. But, this body was just a host to serve our true self survive and operate in this physical universe which isn’t suitable for spirits like us.
We are in this world but not of this world. We are the expressed images of the Creator. Our true self emerged from eternity to time and space in this universe without beginning and ending for a strong purpose bigger than just make ends meet. We will never die except our bio-suit decays. When our body gives up, we cease to exist in this physical universe and continue our eternal journey outside of this physical universe trapped in time and space. We are illegitimate without a body in here. Our soul will emerge back into eternity to continue her evolution to become one with God.
Many of us accepted our fate and bowed to the pressure from the outside world because we don’t know that the power summed up in the universe, both natural and man-made, doesn’t match the infinite power that resides in us. The Kingdom of God is within us with its full-unrestrained power if we just believe and unleash it.
We are the crown jewels of the God who created and sustains not just this gigantic physical universe with trillions of cosmic bodies but also the invisible world more vast and powerful than the former. Do I have proof? I mean something physical, no! Does science provide evidence for what I am claiming? Partially. I am sure future generations will look back and ‘cry’ for our scope of understanding of who we TRULY thought we were like we now do cry for past generations who never had a chance to witness the latest cosmic, neuroscience, quantum physics, epigenetics, and other latest discoveries that push the traditional boundaries of what a human being means.
Our infinite thinking, imagining, and creating powers are god-class. We can call things that don’t exist yet from the quantum field as though they are, like our dad! Though I am sharing this by faith and personal experience, I am sure science will catch up to prove many of the spiritual dimensions of humanity. I am sure, the future generations will evolve and become better ‘humans’ than we ever had been not because of technology advancements but because of humanities ability to recognize its TRUE self and to tap into its invisible side than being stuck with what can be seen- our body and brain, which predisposed us to treat ourselves less than who we truly are.
Test your faith
We can easily test our faith to see where it stands. We should have the self awareness whether our faith is delivering. If it isn’t, we need to be intentional to work on it. Here we go…
If yes and we believe that we have recieved as soon as we prayed, are we thanking before we see the result of our prayer manifest? If not, well, we are deceiving ourselves. It won’t happen. God doesn’t contradict His own word, His own Son. Jesus said, when you pray believe you have recieved and it shall be done on to you.
If yes and we are grateful before our eyes see the manifestations of our prayer, do we act as if we got it? Do we have the feelings that accompany if we have it right now while we are waiting? If yes, we don’t pray about it again and again. We don’t feel as if we are lacking it even if it isn’t yet here in the physical.
Like a faithful farmer who trust God to send rain after he plants the seed, we go back to life as if it was already done. We don’t sweat, labor, beg, and plead. These are signs of lack of faith.
Unfortunately, divine cannot be manipulated. He cannot compromise His eternal principles. We are the ones to meet the requirements of divine laws. Time to go back to work and do our part. He is always faithful to do His part.
Claim your innate nature and reside in your native universe
At your core, you don’t have a beginning and an end. You were with Him before the foundation of the world. You’re eternal.
No question. Your body with its voice- ego, will decay with time and finally dies, not you! You need this physical body to be legitimate in this physical universe. You’re in this world but not of this physical world.
Your true self isn’t in the physical world. Your true self is god and doesn’t test death. You are the son or daughter of God who shared His glory with you. You’re the image of the everlasting King who is supreme in all the universes that exist.
Of course, you decide how you view yourself: As a body that decays at the end of the day or an eternal spirit? You can test how you view yourself. Are you thinking, feeling, behaving, and acting as an eternal being free of the fear of death or a biological accident vulnerable to the outside world? Are you limited to the physical universe or are you transcendent residing well beyond this universe?
If you fall from grace right now and living below your class, it is okay. Decide today to return to your innate nature. Decide right now to live in your native spiritual universe well beyond this universe.
Jesus had known His purpose before He began pursuing
“… I answered, “Coming to your question, Jesus saw everything He would do before He began His ministry at the age of 30. He knew the kind of team members He needed. He shared to His followers how His journey ends long before it all happened.” Kate challenged, “AZ, be specific.”
As a visionary myself, I always prefer when people paint a picture to me using words than giving me specifics and facts. I sometimes forget that people learn differently than I do. Some people may prefer to get some specific examples and data. I smiled and quoted how Jesus actually began His mission. “Do you remember how Jesus went to a Synagogue and read a scripture from the prophet Isaiah’s book?” Kate nodded.
“Luke 4 depicted how Jesus read the place where it is written ‘The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind…’” I continued, “In Luke 4: 21, He said, ‘Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.’ Jesus had read this part from the book of Isaiah and uttered the last statement well before He began talking about the good news nor recovering the sights of the blind…” Taken from The Highest Level of Greatness

The Spirit that created the universe resides & operates in you
Jesus said the Kingdom of God is in you. I know what you’re just saying when you read this statement. Assegid, I knew that when I was a kid! You may understand this powerful statement mentally.
But, have you got it at a spiritual level? Do you fully understand that that the same Power that initiated the creation of the spiritual world, and this physical universe is operating in you? I hope so…
No wonder why Paul said you’re the temple of God. We host the creative Spirit that has no limit what so ever. He can create through us what no one had ever thought about.
The question is not that this limitless Power resides in us. Many of us got this at a mental level. It is whether we know how to collaborate as It cannot operate in the mental and physical realms without our cooperation.
That was why we were created to be co-creators and partners with the Divine. That was why He shared His glory and endowed us with some mental and spiritual faculties no other creation has.
You become great regardless of what you do if you only knew…
I’ve had conversations with some who resent my message on greatness. Of course, I’m grateful that they were courageous enough to let me know what they are thinking! For these bold souls, they think I’m feeding my ego, and even theirs 🙂 They think that I’m not doing the Lord’s work. They believe that I’m out of touch with reality. They also think that I undermine ordinary deeds and individuals. Not at all!
Actually, people with ego protect their ego from being wounded by aiming too low and hiding in the name of humility 🙂 It takes true humility and courage first to honor the great One who created them to manifest His greatness through and with them by allowing Him to use them. And then, to have faith to take risks and willing to fail and be embarrassed. These are the dues one must pay for aiming high to pursue his/her God-given purpose. Temporary failure and defeat are imminent, and part of the process to manifest your inherent greatness.
The important thing in this fulfilling and rewarding journey as one obedience to the Divine than the actual work that person does. Your unconditional obedience that comes from unadulterated faith is what matters to the Divine and in eternity. Otherwise, the actual work will be done by the Father.
Jesus never lifted a finger! He believed and spoke. The Holy Spirit acted on the Words. As a result, the storm calmed down, the man born without eyes saw, the multitude got fed, the dead raised, etc.
All deeds are important and necessary for life and His divine agendas to succeed on this planet. However, the righteous Judge cannot glorify anyone now and/or in eternity without that person earning it. Faith in Him, worshipping, and appeasing Him alone don’t cut it. The question is what have you done with the talent He gave you?
Think about this. The faith of Mary was exceptional. She believed the Divine. She was persuaded that she could be used by God in a mighty way. I don’t think anybody else before her would have believed they could carry Divine in their womb and hold Him on their hands while they were still virgins.
When it comes to her actual work, Mary wasn’t exceptional. Billions have raised their kids paying dire prices. In that regard, if you look at the job, Mary was doing a common task like billions of other loving moms before and after her. The difference was her faith that allowed her to accept this once in a million year seemingly unlikely assignment unconditionally. Not just her faith was great though. Her commitment including the persecution she endured was great.
Her job wasn’t like Jesus. It didn’t take to preach, heal, and raise the dead. She wasn’t tasked like Paul who wrote 2/3 of the New Testament. She wasn’t stoned, beaten, persecuted, and jailed like him. However, she was faithful to her job to carry Jesus in her womb and raise Him, that is it! As a result of her obedience to fulfill her purpose, she will remain honored both in this universe and in eternity.
Thus, whatever mundane your assignment may appear to you or others, as far as it is from your Creator, give it your best. If the assignment was given from Him and you are committed to doing your human part, no question, you will get fulfilled.
However, the litmus paper whether you have taken the right assignment, regardless of whether it is grandeur or not, is that no one on earth can undermine your fulfillment when you are done with your assignment. They may resist or even ignore it at first but they cannot help it but honor you in due time. If not your generation, generations to come. Nonetheless, that shouldn’t be your worry right now.
Let the Divine who knows the how and excels in glorifying those who deserve it worry about that. You worry should be about knowing who you are, why He designed you, and giving your best to pursue and fulfill that. If you begin this rewarding journey today, if you have not yet, wherever you may be right now, you have begun a greatness journey that will end well- allowing you to leave a legacy to this and generations to come.
A Conversation with an Atheist
I had an interesting conversation with a guy who claims to be an atheist.
Let me confess! I prefer to engage in conversations with people who don’t have preconceived rigid beliefs. Such people hide behind dogmas. They never venturing out courageously to explore and test whether what had been handed down to them were true or not. They are blindly loyal to something they don’t ‘know’, truth they cannot ‘explain’. What a reckless living for someone to trust another fallible human being (s) with a serious undertaking like the truth and one’s future.
Anyways, with this brother, I had a joy sharing with him what I believe, and open to hearing his point of view. Since I don’t learn by talking a lot alone, which I wasn’t good at in the past, I kept asking questions to learn. Some of the answers were satisfactory while others weren’t.
One of the questions was about whether he believes anything else outside of himself, and the answer was ‘science’. He was shocked when I told him that I also believe in science! After a quiet brief moment, I explained that science took away many of my doubts and created in me unshakable faith.
Rather than moving me away from God and the Higher Power that created me and this intelligent universe, it actually brought me closer! I can now explain the spiritual benefits of fasting, prayer, chanting, speaking in other tongues, and so on. Scientific fields such as psychology, neuroscience, medicine, and so on have become tools to support some of the ages-old spiritual truths!
Of course, I had one disclaimer to my friend, which differentiates the two of us. I go beyond science, which can only deal with the physical and mental universes. I dive deep into the spiritual world that cannot be discerned and understood by my little brain- the portal (hardware) to my mind (software), which has limited scope!
The mind is a tool given to our soul to understand the physical world, and successfully navigate to fulfill her assignment in this universe. Our individual mind itself must tap into the Universal Mind, that designed and created the universe using certain physical laws, to serve our soul effectively.
We also need our spirit side to lead a holistic life that taps into the spiritual world that brought forth and sustains the physical and the mental universes. Stay tuned for future Facebook Live that will cover some of the topics mentioned in this post…
Who is chattering in your mind?
Who is chattering in your head 24/7? It isn’t a tricky question. Your mind never shuts up while you are awake. At night, he sneaks and create dreams or nightmares 🙂
It is doing its job, which is informing your soul what is happening and expecting the latter to do something about it. Th mind is a servant of your soul, which is in the command center. If the mind is the software, and the brain is the hardware, the soul is the one operating the software.
Unfortunately, very few recognize the one always talking in their head is their mind, not their true self. Few quiet the chatter as they wish, and in charge of their inner conversations. However, very very very few shut it off and turn on the spirit to reveal what is happening in the spiritual world- the real world and mother ship that created and sustains this gigantic universe.
These very few listen through their spirit the conversations of the celestial beings in eternity. True Prophets eavesdrop in the spiritual world and come to know what will happen centuries ahead. That was how the coming of Jesus was prophesied centuries prior to His coming!
It may shock you as you consider yourself just a regular ‘believer’ that you too are endowed to silence your constant talker- your mind, Mr. Talker, once in a while and unleash your spirit to chatter in you based on what it sees happening on the other side of eternity.
Are you able to quiet your mind? Are you in charge and deciding when to turn on and off your mind? Are you, most importantly, tapping into the spiritual and invisible world?
