I. About the Ministry
Assegid Habtewold Ministries, Inc (AHM). is a 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt faith-based non-denominational, in its truest sense, teaching ministry registered in Maryland, USA. AHM is an ecumenical Christian ministry that serves all Christian churches. We encourage greater support, cooperation, and understanding among Christians from diverse denominations.

Our teachings, programs, and activities are aimed at restoring the greatness of humanity one person at a time using the restorative messages and works of Jesus Christ. The teachings of the ministry focus on restoring the whole man (woman)- the body, mind, and spirit. The messages are uplifting, life-changing, inspirational, transformational, and empowering.

The Ministry, at this stage, provides its services online using blogs and video programs.

In the near future, when God provides the resources, we plan to produce a teaching video program and a show that interviews successful Christians from the corporate world to share their experience. We intend to reach out to more Christians beyond the DC metro area by broadcasting and streaming these shows on some cable or satellite networks, and Internet platforms, respectively.

We also plan to start a service in the DC metro area for African immigrants including Ethiopians. Even if the mission of AHM is global and serves all regardless of their denominations, our prime target audience for this first program will be second generation Ethiopians and other African country youth who don’t understand their local language, which is used in their respective churches from diverse denominations in the metro area. By providing this service in English, we intend to bridge this existing gap because of language barrier.

You may ask why targeting second generation African immigrants? That is a legitimate question. The reason is that the founder of the ministry- Dr. Assegid Habtewold, Mr. Restorer, is from Africa, more specifically from Ethiopia. Of course, since the program is going to be in English anyone from other countries and cultures who understands English can attend the service.

On top of inspiring and teaching Christians from diverse denomination about redemption, restoration, and reformation, the ministry is looking for partners to sponsor the following two educational programs:

  1. Organizational and Leadership training for church and ministry leaders, administrators, and volunteers.
  2. Soft skills workshops for Christian business owners and professionals.

By the way, pray for us to find the right partners to sponsor these projects, and also to serve Christians from diverse denominations with excellence. If God speaks to your heart, you may also support these projects financially:
