Restoration

Walk as if you’re already great because you’re!

It’s easy and simple. If you still have sin consciousness and feel deep inside that you’re unworthy, you’ve not yet saved, you’re not yet born again 🙂

If you keep apologizing for being created to manifest greatness, you aren’t yet in faith. If you still doubt that your destiny is at the top, if you aim lower than standing at the top of the mountain like a shining light before you depart from this universe, you’re not yet free from the guilty consciousness that was introduced when Adam fell.

Don’t tell me that you know the Son of God who freed you while bowing your head as you walk in this world. Don’t preach to me that you walk side by side with Him on a daily basis and still you don’t have the boldness to believe that He restored you to the former glory before Adam fell.

You’re free. You’re worthy. You’re the crown jewel creation for the Father, and you’re the brother or sister of the King who restored us into our former glory.

Don’t feel bad and apologize for your being greatness material. Greatness is your birthright.
What is expected of you is to seek the highest level of greatness- the greatness Moses, Mary, Simon the devout, Jesus, Paul, and the likes sought after- and finally commit yourself to pass through the four stages they passed through to unchain the greatness God had chained within you before the foundation of this universe to the fullest…

Synopsis and Bio of the new book

Everyone is greatness material. We all are endowed with unlimited potential. Greatness is chained within us waiting to be unleashed. Unfortunately, in every generation, very few unchain their greatness. The overwhelming majority fails to attain any level of greatness at all.

In ‘Unchain Your Greatness’, the author recognized the four stages the great ones from diverse cultures and generations passed through to achieve their inherent greatness. Those who unchained their greatness were like everyone else except that they followed four straightforward steps (the 4 E’s). They Explored, Enacted, Endured, and Emancipated their greatness to the fullest.

The great ones explored and discovered what predisposed them to manifest greatness. They took bold actions based on their findings. Those who attained greatness also faced numerous obstacles as a result of taking massive actions and pursuing the road to greatness. However, they endured, outlasted continual setbacks, emptied themselves, and ultimately emancipated the greatness shackled within and left enduring legacies.

On top of providing the model the great ones adopted to unchain their greatness to the fullest, the book narrates the stories of great men and women from different religions, age-groups, and fields to show you the attitude and mindset they had as they progressed through these four simple phases. It also shares with you what the great ones discovered, the actions they took, the challenges they overcame, and the legacies they left because they unchained their greatness to the fullest.

Dr. Assegid Habtewold is a coach, speaker, and facilitator at Success Pathways, LLC. He is also the host of ‘Pick Yourself Up’ show that airs on Channel 16. Assegid serves diverse clients including some government agencies, major corporations, and community organizations. He is the author of four books. Jobs tapped into the downtime as he worked hard for his comeback

“After one of the most humiliating outings in the history of US corporations, Jobs returned to Apple after 12 long years as Moses to take it to its Canaan. Jobs eventually regained his leadership position. He was crowned and placed at the helm of Apple once again.

However, one thing many people tend to forget is that Jobs didn’t waste his time in the wilderness. His glorious return wouldn’t have happened if he didn’t tap into the downtime. Between the time he was fired and his triumphant return, he didn’t waste his energy, time, and resources complaining and whining. Rather than blaming the Board and John Sculley- his mentor and the man he himself begged to join Apple, Jobs kept himself very busy. Rather than nursing his wounds, he was actively working toward his comeback.

During that downtime between 1985 – 1997, Jobs could have run away from the valley, called it to quit, or mourned his loss for a very long period of time. If he did, no one would have blamed him. Many would have sympathized with his decision. Instead, Jobs tapped into that downtime to further create. Next Generation and Pixar were the two classic innovations of Jobs that came to existence while he was passing through hell…”

The excerpt is taken from the upcoming follow- up book to The Highest Level of Greatness p.124

We all have wilderness moments regardless of our calling and God being with us. Moses, David, and Jesus had their wilderness moments and they tapped into these seasons as they believed, behaved, and acted waiting for their break.

For instance, David was anointed by one of the greatest prophets. That didn’t shield him from passing through his wilderness season. However, David didn’t lose heart while in the wilderness. He remained faithful to the One who anointed Him. He believed and waited for his payday. While in the wilderness, he tapped into the downtime as he was chased by King Saul. He never gave up in ‘the valleys’ of life. What about you? Have you bee in the wilderness yet? What was your attitude while passing through that tough time? Did you use the downtime wisely?

Book Excerpt: Mandela’s resilience

“…Why was Mandela celebrated, not just by South Africans but also around the world? Simple. His endurance. Otherwise, there were many freedom fighters who paid more dire prices including their very lives than Mandela. What made him unique and different was his courage to face seemingly insurmountable challenges. His determination to outlast all of them.

Mandela once said, “Difficulties break some men but make others. No axe is sharp enough to cut the soul of a sinner who keeps on trying, one armed with the hope that he will rise even in the end.” The unspeakable trials he encountered didn’t break him. He withstood the setbacks he experienced believing that he would win in the end. And, sure enough, he won…” Taken from the upcoming follow-up book to The Highest Level of Greatness p. 157

Jesus demonstrated true resilience. He remains the most inspirational figure who outlasted the challenges presented against Him when He was here on earth. He told us that “In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” (John 16: 33) We too; we will triumph in the end like He did… If you’re passing through tough times right now, hang in there! This is my hope that the stories of Jesus and Mandela should remind you that it’s within your reach to outlast all of the setbacks you’re experiencing at the moment…

You’re chosen to manifest God’s greatness in this generation and time

Are you chosen?

Until your answer is a resounding Yes, and begin saying and doing things for which you’re chosen, you’re far away from restoring yourself to the former glory of humanity.

If you’re hesitating and failing to say Yes, let me remind you. You cannot be shy and/or talk and act like everyone else in the name of humility and hope at the same time that you’ll get fulfilled, let alone achieve greatness. You’re chosen to change the world for good based on your assignment. You’re the solution the world has been waiting for so long in the area of your passion for which you’ve unique qualifications.

Let me ask you again, are you chosen? If you said, yes, then, for what purpose are you chosen? What have you one so far?

Think about Paul. The moment he realized that he was chosen, he left everything and went to Arabia. He gave his best and labored more than the other apostles. He wrote 2/3 of the New Testament. He finished the race and received his crown. What about you?

My friend, there is no shortcut to receive your own unique crown. Know for what purpose you’re chosen, and give it everything you got. Go all in!

You’re chosen to reflect the greatness of God here on earth and manifest greatness in your own unique way during your lifetime!

What you need is to take time and discover your assignment, begin talking about your assignment, and most importantly, back your faith on the caller and the ability He deposited in you by taking bold and massive actions.

You don’t need to have a college degree or a special talent or to be on the right side of the fence or meet any other human qualifications. The seed of greatness is in you. Just believe in it and sow it NOW!

Restore Yourself and Your Relationship where it was before the fall

The end goal isn’t to become religious.

Jesus hated religion and human traditions that contradicted God’s principles.

We have to watch ourselves very closely. Otherwise, we may become religious and fall short of pursuing the main thing.

The main thing is, at the end of the day, to become like God, like Jesus.

Religion never allowed anyone and will never allow pursuing this path. The good news is that you don’t need religion to restore your rightful place to reconnect yourself with God and enjoy the close relationship Adam enjoyed before the fall.

Remember. You cannot become like ‘someone’ without having access, very close intimate access.

I know what you’re thinking 🙂 Befriending with the Holy One? Seeking an intimate relationship with the Mighty One?

Yes! Do you remember Abraham? He was a friend and was told intimate secrets and chosen to be the father of all nations. Because of his relationship, he was favored to be a point of contact to enjoy God’s eternal blessings.

We are the seeds of Abraham through Jesus Christ.

Think about it. No hurry 🙂 If your end goal is to restore your relationship with God where it was before the fall, well, AHM is your partner.

Stay tuned! There are some projects that are designed toward this end goal, to help you fully restore yourself and your relationship…

Have you begun restoring yourself to the fullness Jesus paid the price for?

The human race has come a long way. However, still, very few grasped the full scope of why Jesus (the last Adam) came.

He came to redeem and restore us back to where Adam was before the fall.

The first part, REDEMPTION, is well understood by many. They believed in Jesus and switched lordship from the prince of this world (devil, the author of sin) to Jesus’.

Nonetheless, this is just the first and mandatory step. It isn’t the end. It’s just a ticket to enter into the full restoration.

Redemption allows one to enter into the Kingdom of God. It is not enough, however, to exercise one’s full rights and authority as a Kingdom citizen. To enjoy the latter, to walk in this world like Jesus did, one needs to restore himself/herself to the former glory the first Adam has before fall.

Unfortunately, like the Israelites who settled in the desert and the overwhelming majority unable to enter to Canaan as God desired, even if He promised and vowed to help them enter the promised land while they were still alive, likewise; now, billions are dying before restoring themselves to the fullness Jesus paid the price for.

What we have now is a generation that settled with REDEMPTION alone- a generation of believers who stopped progressing to fully restore themselves while alive and in this world.

The overwhelming majority Christians are extremely happy that they gained redemption and free from sin and its consequences. They are not climbing the ladder to restore themselves where the first Adam was before the fall, and where Jesus was after crucifixion and resurrection. They are satisfied with having the ticket on hand and the promise to enter into heaven when they die. What a disappointment to Jesus? What a waste to the human race?

What about you? Have gained redemption? Great! Have you begun restoring yourself? What are you doing to restore yourself? If you haven’t yet commenced that journey, at least, have you determined to restore yourself fully to the position Jesus restored you before you die?

Don’t forget, if your desire is to restore yourself fully to where the first Adam was before fall, AHM is by your side. We are your cheerleaders as you go to the next level toward restoring yourself to the glory humanity had before the fall.

Jesus, the BAR!

Jesus, the BAR!

Billions walked on this planet. A few pleased God. These had set a bar for us to follow suit.

However, Jesus didn’t set a bar. He Himself was the BAR.

He came to show us what was in store for the first Adam and what we missed as Adam’s children because of his disobedience- a walk devoid of love!

Jesus showed up denying Himself and His divinity wearing flesh to walk among us humans and redeem us from the consequences of Adam’s loveless journey. Not only that, He showed us the way to restore ourselves back to our former glory before fall.

Thank God, we are redeemed. We are restored back to our former greatness. Our job is to emulate Jesus’ lifestyle and walk like He walked in this planet.

Jesus showed unconditional obedience to His Father and demonstrated love even to those who hated and killed Him in the flesh. That is what we all should do if our desire is to restore ourselves back to our former glory before the fall. Simple! But, it’s not easy as it seems.

That is the BAR. That is the WAY. That is the Life. That is the only way to get redeemed and restored to the former glory of humanity before the fall…

Moses attained purpose-oriented greatness (excerpt)

…Think about those great ones you admire. Write down the names of five of your great ones. If you take time and reflect, you could be able to find out, at least, two things in common. They:

  • Discovered their unique purpose, and
  • Willing to die for the purpose they discovered.

Let me quickly give you some diverse examples of great ones who attained purpose-oriented greatness.

  1. Moses

Moses is the greatest prophet who ever lived. “Probably no person in history has been so widely admired as the great Hebrew prophet Moses.”[i] He is popular among Jews, Christians, and Muslims around the world. For that matter, the founder of Islam, Muhammad “recognized Moses as a true prophet.”[ii]

He was supposed to die the moment he took his first breath. Pharaoh issued a fatal decree. Pharaoh ordered: “Every Hebrew boy that is born you must throw into the Nile, but let every girl live.” (Exodus 1: 22)

His mother concealed him for three months, but finally, she couldn’t hide him any longer. He was weaned prematurely and thrown into a river full of deadly beasts. The daughter of Pharaoh found him and adopted him as her own son. He lived in the palace and was groomed as a prince. Unbeknownst to them, they equipped him to handle his future purpose (Exodus 2:1-25).

When he was forty, he sensed his purpose of delivering his fellow Israelites from bondage. He actually took action toward that end. He killed an Egyptian who mistreated a fellow Hebrew (Exodus 2: 12). You know the rest of the story. What he had done came out in the open. He had to flee and spend the next forty years in the wilderness.

When he was still in the desert and tending sheep, at the age of eighty, Moses was sent to deliver the Israelites from bondage. “So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.” (Exodus 3: 10) This was his unique purpose.

Moses was committed to his purpose. He was willing to die for it. He confronted the leader of the then superpower country and demanded the release of Israelites. Since he discovered his purpose and demonstrated unwavering commitment to pursue it, Moses attained a purpose-oriented greatness. As a result, he became the greatest deliverer in history and left a legacy…

Discover your calling, makeshifts, and lead a purpose-oriented lifestyle (Excerpts)

When you closely study Jesus, He knew His assignment from the start. He didn’t go out to do anything His hands found. He didn’t grab all opportunities that came on His way. For example, He refused to be a king (John 6: 15). He lost no sight of His purpose and why He came to the world. When Peter suggested for Him to escape the key part of His assignment, He rebuked him (Matthew 16: 22). Not only that, He didn’t take the opportunity Pilate presented to escape crucifixion on the cross. “Do you refuse to speak to me?” Pilate said. “Don’t you realize I have power either to free you or to crucify you?” (John 19: 10) You may say, well, this is Jesus, what do you expect?
Well, what about those women and men of God whose stories we have been reading from the Bible? They discovered their calling, made some adjustments in their lives and gave it their best. They responded to their calling, took risks, and served God where He wanted them, and they attained fulfillment. They served the will of God in their generation. Here is what was said about David: “Now when David had served God’s purpose in his own generation, he fell asleep.” (Acts 13: 36) Would people give the same testimony when you are done your journey here on earth? Would God approve the path you have chosen when He receives your spirit?

We all must discover our unique assignment (calling). Where you are right now, do you feel peace? Where you’re serving God at the moment, are you persuaded that you’re at the center of His will? Is your life, career, organization, and/or Ministry aligned alongside your calling?

If not, begin discovering your purpose, and make the necessary shifts to be in your rightful place. Your personal fulfillment is highly dependent on it. You cannot fulfill the will of God and serve your generation according to His plan without discovering, and most importantly, without the willingness to make the changes that lead you to your rightful place where you could pursue your assignment and finish your race successfully. Don’t you want to conclude your assignment like Paul did by saying, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” (2 Timothy 4: 7)? If that is what you desire, then, discover your purpose, align everything you do alongside your purpose, and lead a purpose-oriented lifestyle…
