Brief descriptions of the three programs that will be launched end of April:

  1.     The Forum

The norm is sermon, which is common in the Church. Though sermons are important, it doesn’t give the new generation, which seeks to ask questions and have a say, a chance to participate. It is one way. That is why our Ministry is attempting to fill this gap and arrange once per month (depending on the need, it could be expanded to twice per month or once per week). The Forum is aimed at empowering its target audience to follow Jesus wholeheartedly while succeeding in their home, relationship, business, and career. After a 30 – 45 minutes presentation, there’ll be open discussion for 45 – 60 minutes. The presenter will be the facilitator of the discussion. This way, the audience will get a chance to share their own stories, seek explanations, and ask questions on that particular theme. The current theme is “The disciple series” focusing on how Christians follow Jesus in the marketplace. During the launching conference, we’ll take one of the topics under this theme: Living life without worry. Once this theme is concluded, may be end of this year or early next year, we’ll come up with another series that empowers Christians to succeed in the real world.

  1.     Interviews

Our ministry thinks that the stories of Christians who are succeeding outside of the four walls of the church should be celebrated and shared. That is why our ministry identified this gap and established this project. This project interviews exemplary and successful Christians whose stories are worth sharing. These stories may help the young generation to learn how these successful Christians apply the Bible on their day-to-day life, make difficult decisions, sticky choices, overcome challenges, and keep on going regardless of setbacks, and so on. During this conference, we have a live interview with Chris Parlette, 30-something young technologist who also serves in his church as deacon. He’ll be interviewed by Meron Brehane- a young accountant, who has also Master’s degree in Theology. These stories will be uploaded on our YouTube Channel, shared on Social Media, streamed on other Internet platforms, and broadcasted on the Air and Satellite as our income allows us to do so.

  1.     Panel Discussions

Many traditional churches are afraid or unequipped to address the hard questions the young generation raises. Many of such churches’ leaders enforce their beliefs on the young guys without attempting to answer the latter’s tough questions. This gap warrants our ministry to take the challenge and arrange panel discussions by bringing experts on the stage. We will facilitate such panel discussions, allow our target audience poses questions to the panelists, and then upload the video footages on our YouTube Channel, share on Social Media, and attempt to stream them on other Internet platforms, and broadcast on the Air and Satellite as our income allows us to do so. During this conference, we discuss the theme Science and Religion. Many professional Christians compartmentalize their science and spiritual lives. They don’t think that the two can co-exist. In this panel discussion, Christian technologists, scientists, and pastors and church leaders will discuss about the contributions of Science to Religion, and vice versa. And more.
